Cornwall Park- Hastings

Graham is on this photo somewhere!!!! The below sign relates to the picture above!

This weekend the weather forecast has not been too good. We had planned to go camping with Helen and Jon to Taupo but given that it forecast to throw it down we decided not to go. After sorting the car out, we popped to Hastings and visited Cornwall Park. The park is gorgeous and has lots of colourful gardens and trees, there we're lots of flowers including collections of azaleas, camellias and roses which have been added to the mature trees, which date back to the 1920's when the park was established. There is a outhouse there that has lots of tropical flowers in it and a large statue to commemorate when the Duke and Duchess of York visited.
