Westshore Womens Triatholon-'The New Arrivals'

After Tratholon...Please Note....The runners finished the triatholon....thats why I am bright red and the rest of my team aren't!!

Took part in a triatholon this morning..spent most of the night tossing and turning thinking about it! Arrived at 'the pond' at westshore and met up with a large group of ladies from Hastings Hospital.Our team we're called 'The New Arrivals'....given that two thirds of our team we're from the UK! I was the runner, Helen cycled and Wendy ( Helens work colleague) was the swimmer. It was a really great atmosphere. There we're a lot of us and we went in four different waves...we we're wave 3!

I had to run down the main road!!!!!!!!...but it went well, didn't stop which was my goal...and even managed a sprint at the end...in true Holland competitive spirit!! In fact, people we're laughing as I practically knocked a women over to get through quicker...ooops!

Having a relaxing afternoon today ( Sunday) and then off to Ahuriri tonight to watch some fireworks over the sea.
