Cornwall Park-Hastings

Graham is on this pic!

Hi all, last weekend we popped to Cornwall Park. We have visited before, but we didn't go all the way around the park and missed all of the birds they have there. There were so many to see...Kea's, Golden Pheasants, Australlian Parrots, Canaries and lots of others...took some pics but hard to see through the railings!

Mission accomplished....

Spitfire complete and in position!

Giant Bird of Paradise

Apples and Tomatoes

Graham has been working very hard this last few weeks making the garden look nice and pretty! He has made a sand pit for bubs and created a beach rockery around the outside. He has also made a toy box for bubs out of wood he found laying around the garage! The back of the garage has always looked awful, so we are pleased it is now all sorted. I will take some more pics of the rest of the garden at some point!

Napier- 'Finders Keepers'

Today we popped to Napier for a few bits and stopped off at a shop called 'Finders Keepers'...it is like stepping back in time. The shop sells items from the pre-war days and it is great to just go and have a nosey. Last time we went in there I commented on how fab the till was...an original till from goodness knows what year. We ended up buying something, so never one to miss a photo opportunity, I asked for a photo!

Daddy still working on spitfire!

Nearly finished.....

Celebrating Irma's Late Husbands Birthday

Hi all,

On Wednesday we went out for dinner with Irma. Irma is the lady who Graham has made the leaded light for, the 7th Jan is her late husbands birthday. Took lots more pics of the window, as the lighting was great and really showed off the sky! Had an indian dinner at a place in Taradale which was lovely. Irma has had some professional pictures taken of the window and whilst we were there the photographer dropped them off. He was really impressed with the window and he has a job for Graham and so they swapped numbers.
